My Pumpkin

Bryson got to go and pick out his pumpkin to carve up. It wasn't a great weather day so we went to the local church that had a pumpkin patch (their yard with pallets of pumpkins on them with a rusted out trailer with hay in it so the kids can climb on and get hurt) and grabbed one. B had fun walking through all the pallets and looking at the pumpkins. Everytime Dad thought he had found the perfect one he would show it to B and B would push it away and point back to the pallet. Finally he agreed on a nice oddly shaped one. Figured it wasn't rotted out so we were good to go!

While Dad was getting this thing priced and trying not to pass out because he thought he was buying a fruit not the whole meal at a 5 star restaurant B was having fun playing in the mud.

We got our sticker that said we got our pumpkin and had paid for it!

We got this thing home and got ready to clean it. "When Daddy brought out the big metal spoon that I normally don't get to play with I was SUPER excited! I did let Dad help with the little plastic spoon so he wouldn't hurt himself. "

Bryson did really well and got the idea of what to do UNTIL you tried to get him to touch it! No way did he want any part of that. I mean why else would you use the big spoon!

Here is Momma giving B a little bit of the goo and then B showing her that he didn't want it and quickly giving it back! Then mean Momma grew horns and couldn't resist putting a glop of it on his foot. He then proceeded to have a melt down!

B did forgive her once she showed him how good it tasted if you got a little bit off the spoon!
