It has been really cold and rainy in Texas the last couple of weeks so we checked out the Children's Museum in the middle of February. He really had fun and did really well with all the activities. He really cant wait till it get warmer so we can go and try out all the outside water activities.

Chuck E Cheese Party

Bryson got to experience his first Party with the mouse. He loved it but even though dad did most of the leg work I think mom wants no part in that place again!

B catching up with the Birthday girl that he hasn't seen in daycare for a while. She has transferred to another school.

Watching the mouse dance around.
Much to our surprise B decided he wanted to be in the middle of the party. So he grabbed dad hand and yanked him into the middle of kid craziness! You can find him by the bald spot in the middle of the picture! B loved it and danced around and even took part in trying to pick up tickets when they threw them out mardi gras style.

B favorite game was this virtually bowling thing. It would give you a ball and you had to roll it about a foot and then it would electronically do the rest. It was the perfect game were it sat close to the ground and took little effort. B had no idea to watch the screen he only cared about the ball coming back to him and then rolling it again!

Here is B watching the mouse up close. All the other kids were a little freaked out by it but not our little one! Hopefully this is the sign for next years Santa Clause Pictures.

Houston Boat Show

Last weekend was just cold. Really cold for South Texas. So the question became what can you do to entertain your kid with out getting him sick. Well good thing the Boat Show was in town. So we met up with our friends the Lozano's and went to check out what we all wish we had money to throw at. Bryson was in love with it from the minute he walked in. We were there for almost 5 hours and we didn't make it to over half the boats! Why? Because B and Sara had to get into every single boat we passed and skipping just one was not possible!!!

You had to run thru the boat!

Look under any doors you find!

Open and Close any Cabinets that happen to be unlocked!Drive the boat!

And of course try to reenact the scene from Titanic hanging from the bow while mom gets that worried man you are going to fall out and bust your head look!

And yes when ever possible get mom and dad to have to climb in with me!

SportClips

Bryson got his first Big Boy haircut. We were headed back to Alabama for family time and wanted him looking all trimmed up so we headed off to dads favorite person at SportsClips. Bryson did really good and did eventually require a paci but I think it was only after he got told he could not have the VIP with shampoo, hot towel and back massage!

Getting started. Dad forgot he was suppose to be photogenic during all this!

B knew right away that he was getting alot of attention and had no problem taking it!

He even sort of liked the trimmers. Wasn't so sure when she first turned them on and they started Buzzing. But then once she used them he kept laughing because of the tickle sensation!

Look B has ears again!

B strutting his stuff with his new look!

Christmas 09

Bryson enjoyed his second Christmas but the first one in Houston. He started out a little slow but was running the show in short order. At first, he would go and get one toy and get stuck wanting to play with it. But after the first couple he really started enjoying opening the presents and we had to slow him down so he (and we) could actually see what he got!

Here is what it looked like before Bryson got to it.

Bryson trying to figure out where all this "stuff" came from and if he was allowed to touch it.

Ripping right into a present.

Here is a good clip of B in action! He would go get a present and when he opened it if it was just clothes, like a typical little boy, moved right on to another present to see if he might find something a little better! Notice mom trying to sneak in a couple of bites because he wouldn't slow down long enough to eat!

The Perfect Picture!

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!! (But we do get LUCKY sometimes)

We were asked to send a picture of B for a Christmas card. For the one picture we finally got and sent there are another 100 + that we couldn't use. This was the case for our Christmas card too. I couldn't imagine how it must have been when you didn't have digital and would have to print them all out and just discard them!!! Or to try to do this with two kids together. So to honor us and the hours we spent and the other parents out there who got pictures and cards done here is a taste of some the not so good pictures!
Goal: One picture with Bryson in Christmas PJ's with a Christmas background including a figure.

1st try. Bryson meet Frosty-Bryson push Frosty over!

Trying to hold him up long enough to snap a pic and keep him upright.

Finally we convinced him to love on Santa of course he doesn't look at the camera then!
Showing how enthused he is about this

New game lets jump up and run away.

Or pull ornaments off the tree since I get to be so close to it.

Only if he had one of those old style pockets in the back were he could show a little bum and let us know how he really feels.
OK take Frosty out of equation and try just a simple jingle bell thing. But now it is a new thing and not interested in looking up.

And we are back to running around.
Realised Frosty wasn't to far away so now he would beat him with the rattle.

NO COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
