Easter

The Easter Bunny set out a bunch of eggs for Bryson and the neighbor kids to find. We decided since it was so Warm out that we would go good ole southern style and just have B in overalls. Would have gone shoeless if he didn't pick out his sandals to wear.

Going in for the first egg.

Did so well his basket got heavy quickly.
Even got bold enough to start calling them before he even got to the egg!

Found another one! Finally suckered mom into caring around his basket.

All of a sudden B walks off towards the house. We thought maybe he was bored, tired or hot but couldn't figure out why he took off so fast

Well a couple seconds later he comes back out dragging his "Bop-Bop" as he calls it. To show everyone how it sings and dances and you are suppose to dance with it! Finally slowed him down just enough to grab a quick family shot!

Easter Egg Dying

On Good Friday Bryson and I stopped by Walmart to get our 18 eggs so we could get them home, boiled and cooled by the time mom got home!
Trying decide what color to put his first egg in.

See how carefully he placed it in the color! Such a big boy.

We even colored on them with the wax pencil to get some Bryson shapes.

Even got him to do a little Tie-dying!

Here is my devil horn picture were I realised it was more fun to THROW the egg into the dye to see if i could give mom and dad a heart attack! Letting them dry.All ready to go for Easter!

Bryson had his Easter egg hunt at school today!

Their playground all set-up with eggs!!!

Holding the kids back.

Bryson heading out to see what he can find. (really just trying to figure out what all the commotion is about!)

First attempt. Think it was more just trying to get the girly green stuff out of his bucket! After the first one he decided he liked this game and got up to speed!

Trying to figure out why someone keeps putting this girly stuff in his bucket!!Taking a break to see what he got!

Elmo and Independence

The night before Bryson turned two he decided to let mom know what a big boy he is and that he would be doing more stuff on his own. He did this by taking care of his now favorite toy Elmo. He got this for his first Christmas from grandma but really hasn't paid it much attention. The last couple of weeks though it has become the favorite toy.

To the point Elmo is suppose to come with us every were. Luckily here we convinced him Elmo want to stay to watch over the kitties. So he left him inside and gave him a "bye-bye elmoo" and we were able to get going.

However the night before Elmo had to be carried upstairs for bed time. And after a bath Bryson let mommy know that he would handle things and show Elmo what the routine is for bed time. So first thing was potty time. He put him on it and even got his box he uses as a table and put his mickey mouse clubhouse he plays with on it. This way Elmo would be entertained while using the little monster toilet! After potty time Elmo got taken to the bathroom to brush his teeth. He got one of his toothbrushes and acted like he put toothpaste on it and proceeded to brush Elmo's teeth. Notice he is telling Elmo "ahhh" so he can get his tongue really good. Then he put Elmo down in front of the rocker got his blanket and lovie and climbed in it to read some books. After 5-6 books he decided it was time to go to bed and asked to be put in his bed and that was it went right to sleep!

Think mommy is going to miss that quiet time of getting to read to B as he goes to sleep but the little man is showing his maturity! luckily B wanted mom to read to him again the next night. Man they sure grow up fast!

B is Two!

Happy Birthday Bryson! Yes we already had your party but you still had way to many present to open that your parents have no idea were to keep them all and had a nice birthday breakfast too. But I think mom cheated a little in picking the place because I am not sure it was all for you!

Opening the Box from Bar Bar and Paw Paw in B-ham.

Showing us how it works just in case we didn't know.

Chowing down on Cheesecake Factory Brunch.

Even got to ride in the big part of the basket at Sam's and read a book he picked out.

2nd Birthday Party

Bryson celebrated his birthday a little early were we had family in town for the Houston BBQ going on. Bryson has been to a couple birthday parties this year but by far his favorite was at a place that had a room of the inflatable bouncy toys. So we found one close to our house and had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme party!

Ready to go!

Was a pretty good work out for the dads. The slides were a little to high for the little ones to climb up so we spent a lot of time climbing to the top to help them out. Of course then you just had to slide down after them so you could do it all over again.

No FEAR!

Family Pic!

After play time it was party time.

Birthday boy downing some ice cream and cake. Opening presents Prince Style! Saying goodbye to all his friends and thanking them for coming!
