Disney On Ice

Bryson got lucky and his dad was able to snag some tickets at a really good price for Disney On Ice. The weather turned out to be less then ideal so it was a good time to have an inside activity. Bryson Loved it. We only did half the show as two hours was just a little to long for him. But talk about parent trap nightmare. There were no less than 10 merchandise booths you had to walk by to get to the seats!!

As we looked over all the stuff. Which he got to use his new magic word he learned from daycare which is "mine"!

He finally settled on a light toy. Which was good news as it looked pretty cool and can't wait to try out myself!

Mesmerized by the show. Got real excited when his favorite character---Mickey came out on the ice.

On a side note. Yes that is an Elmo shirt as dad has not paid enough attention to the videos and got confused that Elmo is not in the Disney family but part of Sesame Street. Luckily B does not hold that against me as I prefer the wiggles if I have to pull that duty!

PEEP

Bryson got his first experience with a Marshmallow PEEP on a stick! It was one of those moments as a parent you just know to sit back and let them work it out! So we unwrapped it and let him go at it!
He looked it over and let us know it was a "Bop-Bop". We told him it was a treat and he could eat it. So he loooooked at it and then squeezed it and gave us a funny look!

But he went for it!Gave it a good tug but it wouldn't break loose for him! So it was back to reevaluating the situation and feeling it. But he did like the taste, so he went right back at it. This time it was an ALL OUT pull! He did get a little bit off. So once we got our enjoyment we went ahead and showed him how to rip a little piece off and eat it that way!

Easter

The Easter Bunny set out a bunch of eggs for Bryson and the neighbor kids to find. We decided since it was so Warm out that we would go good ole southern style and just have B in overalls. Would have gone shoeless if he didn't pick out his sandals to wear.

Going in for the first egg.

Did so well his basket got heavy quickly.
Even got bold enough to start calling them before he even got to the egg!

Found another one! Finally suckered mom into caring around his basket.

All of a sudden B walks off towards the house. We thought maybe he was bored, tired or hot but couldn't figure out why he took off so fast

Well a couple seconds later he comes back out dragging his "Bop-Bop" as he calls it. To show everyone how it sings and dances and you are suppose to dance with it! Finally slowed him down just enough to grab a quick family shot!

Easter Egg Dying

On Good Friday Bryson and I stopped by Walmart to get our 18 eggs so we could get them home, boiled and cooled by the time mom got home!
Trying decide what color to put his first egg in.

See how carefully he placed it in the color! Such a big boy.

We even colored on them with the wax pencil to get some Bryson shapes.

Even got him to do a little Tie-dying!

Here is my devil horn picture were I realised it was more fun to THROW the egg into the dye to see if i could give mom and dad a heart attack! Letting them dry.All ready to go for Easter!
