Big Boy Cot

Bryson now sleeps on a cot at day care during their nap time! We are amazed with the amount he moves in his crib at night that he is able to sleep peacefully and stay on this thing for two hours!! He has been doing it for a week like it is no big deal and trying to figure out why mom and dad are so surprised. (He doesn't realise that we put him to bed on one side and he wakes up on the other side of the crib turned 180 degrees and upside down with his feet hanging out of the crib!)

They are little cots that they put on the play mats and sit about a foot off the ground. Then they have sheets that they tie on and can be changed out every day!

4th Of July

Bryson spent the 4th at the beach in Fort Walton, Fl. This was the the first time driving over and back since his Baptism last Sept. Let me tell you there was a BIG difference for mom and dad!!! Bryson slept for two hours both ways of the 10 hour car trip. Luckily for us he enjoyed the Baby Einstein videos. Sure wish they made them longer than 30 min though!!!! Have to admit it was nice that he eats basically anything we get so we can now get kids meals and he is fine with that. Plus dad gets to play with all the Transformer Toys in the kids meals! One of the hours that he gave it up to rest a little.

Bryson invited all his cousins down to play in the water with him. They had a great time and had a lot of fun. Here are the links to some more pictures from their page 4th pics and Group Pic.

Bryson opening up a present that his cousins brought for him!

Micah helping get everything out and tested!

It was a collection of musical instruments and Bryson loves to make what he considers music with it. With enough Advil for mom and dad it sort of sounds bearable!

Trying to figure out how to get out of Baby Jail in the morning. While everyone was working on getting up and going to spend a day in the water and sun we let the little ones play in the living room.

Wouldn't be to long till we were all in the water.
Playing motor boat!

Hey whats down there mommy!

Dad chilling although he had to put his beer down to get the sippy cup to Bryson alot.

We have been teaching Bryson at the pool in Houston to jump to us in the water. Here he is showing off what he has learned!

This Video was from a cell phone and isn't great quality but you can just make out how much fun B is having. Dad put a chair in the water for him and let him stand on it. He thought it was the coolest thing to be free in the water and just bounced around and splashed.

After being in the salt water we would run Bryson through the kiddy pool to rinse him off! His best friend Sasha agreeing that the water taste good. Bryson inviting her to get in the pool with him and get cooled off. Think we are going to have to break down for a little bigger pool than this 5 dollar clearance one Labor Day.

After all the water and sun Bryson had no problem Stretching out in his bed for a full nights sleep!

Surgery

Bryson is recovering well from his eye surgery he had on Monday. Hopefully everything will continue that way as he is ready to go swimming again.

I WON!!!!!!

HA HA ! I have been dealing with a bird problem. These two doves decided that my outdoor entertainment center was the perfect place to make a nest. They started this before our Memorial Day vacation. Everytime they started building their nest, I would go and get ALL of the nest down from the shelf. I figured after 20 times they would just give up and go on to one of the 6 BIG trees I have in my backyard. But NOOOOO, they just kept coming back! Since we were headed to the beach for Memorial Day I put coat hangers and clothes line pins around the DirecTV box to keep them away. Here is what I returned to find.

YES! That is mom with BABIES!!!!! So now I can't do anything if I expect to share the bed with my lovely wife . I am stuck for TWO weeks waiting for the things to fly off. When the babies finally leave the nest, I clean up the nest and all the CRAP and figure I am good-to-go. WRONG again! The things loved their "home lot" so much that they immediately returned and start trying to create another nest!!!!! Again I go with the "I will tear it down and hope you give up" therory. Well that didn't work so one of my friends suggested using a squirt bottle. This only made it so that the birds would wait until we weren't home and would work feverously to rebuild and then not hang out near the nest but it still was getting built!!! Of course, I have July 4th coming up with a trip back to the beach. I am determined I WILL NOT lose this battle. Again, my lovely wife has ruled out my BB gun option, even if I promise I would just pump it once and give it a "love" tap. She has no upcoming trips either where she would be out of town for a day or two. So after problem solving with Bryson a little, he recommended I use HIS toy! All I can say is we have been BIRD FREE for more than a week now!

I have agreed although, to go to Gander Mountain and get a plastic eagle and let Bryson have back his stuffed animal he got from his Uncle!
