Splash Day

Bryson had Splash day today at daycare. They have sprinklers and buckets of water. Bryson had fun but wasn't to sure about all the activity. Not used to having water "Splashed" on him as to being in a pool. Of course give him his paci hit and all is fine.

New Room

Well Bryson is spending his first week in his new room at Day Care. This room is a little more spread out and padded for the mobile babies. He did really good. Even sat at the table and ate his lunch . He enjoys seeing all his old friends that had made the move a little while ago.

Too HOT for Anything but Pool Time

Man summer is here and in a BIG way. We have had two straight weeks where it has been over 95. This weekend it was at 99 or above. So the only place that made sense to go and spend time is the POOL! Bryson just absolutely loves it and is getting to the point where he wants to be all over the pool. I really think we should have gotten him in one of those early swim classes. Even now he kicks his legs naturally trying to get somewhere if we aren't moving thru the water fast enough! A shot of the "beach area" that Bryson likes to go since he is free to go where he wants!

Here is a video of Bryson playing with the water jets. He is trying to see how close he has to get to touch it with out getting soaked!

Realized there was a smaller one while on his way the other direction!

Every 50 mins they clear all the kids out of the pool for 10 mins (you know to make sure no one is left on the bottom and the water isn't to full of pee). Bryson has learned that means he gets to munch on animal crackers and drink some juicy-juice!

All pruney and water logged Bryson said he agreed it was time to head home for dinner! He walked his way out of the pool (with some assistance from Dad).

Showing off is hat hair to everyone.

With the weather forecast over the next week being no rain and starting to set record triple digit highs we should have a lot more pool time next weekend too!

Walking W/ His Car

Bryson LOVES his toy car. He will walk behind it and push it ALL over. He absolutely loves to fill the space under the seat with all his toys and Paci's. He will also get on it and push all the buttons but his legs were too short he couldn't push himself around. This meant we got to push him around the house. Well, he has grown enough now in the last week that he is able to get around on it. He, although, picks the hardest way of doing it. He stands up and walks with it. Our carpet isn't the best surface for cruising around though!

Climbing!!!

Well Bryson has mastered a new skill. He decided he wants to be a MOUNTAIN climber. While this is a good skill to have its bad because he more than likely will be asked to move to the next room with new teachers and kids with the same "skill" level. We thought it was funny this past weekend when he wanted to climb up on the couches to get the cats but we never thought about what else he would decide to check out!

Now for some walking! He is there just chooses to crawl because he knows he is faster and can ALMOST catch those fur balls that tempt him to come and pull on their tail!

Pool Weekend

This weekend went by so fast! Saturday we decided to take Bryson up to check out one of the neighborhood pools. He loved it SOOO much we went back Sunday!!

Waiting to get in!!!Toys, I don't need no stinkin' toys, just give me a cup please!

Bryson loved that this pool had a sloped entrance (like a shoreline) so mom and dad didn't have to hold him all the time.

Man, I am so tired! I will just sleep here, you guys go on in!

Memorial Vacation Beach

Bryson made it back to the beach...the first time since his Baptism back on Labor Day weekend 2008! After a shaky start with bad rainy weather most of the weekend, the last two days there turned out pretty nice. The water was still WAY too cold for Bryson. We tried a couple of times but if more than his feet went into the water, well he was having none of it! Guess who the center of attention was ALL weekend???

Loving the new beach highchair that Bryson's Great Grandpa bought him!

The VIEW mom and dad got to see of their son every time they put him down! Just too much to get into to sit still! Bryson reminding us how we can't baby proof everything in the short time we were there!

What the weather was like when we got to the beach!

I think his FACE says it all!

He did settle down a little when he could watch a crazy dog swim thru the waves to get a tennis ball!

But he didn't want to let go for too long!

When the bay water was too cold, a $5 blow-up pool works every time! And when the sun got to be too much just prop up a little shade. Where there is shade and water, so will be Bryson's favorite puppy dog, Sasha!Bryson wanting to know all that goes on! He is looking through the yellow strip of the rainbow and the goings on behind him.

Hey and Mom tries to figure out why we are having to change so many wet diapers! We got us a pool drinker! I am sure it won't be too long!

Dad taking a break from the water to spend time on the grill!
Finally some good weather to get out on the water!

Memorial Vacation Birmingham

We stopped by Birmingham on our weeklong trip so Bryson could spend some time with his cousins. We are very short on pictures during this trip but here is one of the moms taking all the little boys to the ZOO! Kristi and her sister also took their mom out for a girls night and went to an art class where you drink wine and stick all the kids with the dads...they call it Sips N Strokes! I also was able to find a couple videos on my phone.

This is pretty much how all the playtimes went. In typical fashion, whatever the other one had was WAY cooler then what they had and they had to have the other's toy! But man they kept each other busy and taught each other and few tricks!

And I can't leave Noah out. The four year old that kept crushing me at WII Bowling over and over and over again!

Holdover

We are in the process of collecting all the great pictures we have of our trip thru Memorial Day weekend. We had lots of fun and hope to have some post on that soon. But to make sure no one thinks we disappeared here is a video of Bryson going on his walk (ride) in his blue car. He loves the horn on this thing and wants to make sure everyone knows he is coming!
