First Hair Cut!
Bryson is like his daddy he doesn't have a whole lot on the top but the sides and the front grow pretty fast. So since his hair was starting to curl and could cause confusion we went ahead and trimmed it up a bit. Gave a couple snips and he looks like a groomed little boy again. And it turned out to be a perfect little lock of hair to save forever!

Bath Time!
Bryson LOVES bath time. He gets so excited we have to hold him back or he would get in fully clothed.
Can I get in yet!
What about NOW?
playing with my toys!
Going for the Dunk!
Wouldn't be a bath with out boats!
Ok ready or not hear I come. I am wrinkly enough now!

Mobile Blogging
Well I guess now I will not have much of an excuse not to post because I just learned how to blog straight from my Blackberry! Just have to watch my spelling a little closer!! And because no one wants to read an entry without seeing a pic of Bryson here he is eating at a new pizza joint that we tried out this past weekend! See how intense he looks at me since I disturbed him while he was looking over all the good things on the menu!

Grass!
Well now that the weather is getting nice in Houston we decided to venture outside after work. It pretty much rained for 4 straight days now. Bryson got to play in the yard. We were able to have him play in the grass until he started to slow down and wanted to EAT the grass!
If you watch, after we take the grass out of his hands repeatedly you will see him turn his head to see if he can sneak a piece.
Here is a video of Bryson getting around. Haven't done a video in a while and realizd we didn't have any of him on the move!

Baby Proofing
Well we found out that as much as you don't want them to your little one to grow, they grow up very fast. Seemed like just yesterday that we would be doing something and if we needed two hands we could put Bryson down and he would play with his toys and when we turned around we knew exactly were we "left" him, so to speak. Not anymore! Today Bryson decided to try to go down the stairs. Unfortunately he didn't wait for his bad dad who put him down for a sec to help him. By the time I turned around and saw what he was about to do and said "NO" he looked at me, smiled, and took one more crawl forward. Luckily, he did a penguin slide down 13 steps and actually rotated before he got to the bottom and landed on his side. No damage other than a scared baby and a TERRIFIED dad. And so now we are also examining anything that is in that "three foot range" to make sure there isn't anything that may need to be put up for a while. Of course that includes replacing all the plug blocks that we are missing. As you can see too, he has a new bear he likes to carry around in his mouth since it makes a whistling sound. As we were watching him and laughing our butts off, he proceeded to crawl straight over to the wall stand up and try to plug the slobbery bear into the plug on the wall! Amazing!
This was taken four hours after the great fall. See no bruising and a big ole' smile. I think he was just trying to get out of that outfit and back into a little more orange and blue!

What? It is my food so I can do whatever I want with it!

Surgery
Bryson had his eye surgery today. We appreciate all the prayers and well wishes he has received over the last 24 hours. We were able to get the surgery scheduled for first thing in the morning so Bryson slept right up until time to go. We didn't have to fight any hunger issues so that was good. We actually found out once we got there that the child ahead of Bryson didn't fair as well and had to be rescheduled (gave in and gave the child milk) so Bryson got moved up a slot! He was under for about an hour and the doctor said everything went very well and that it would take a little time to see how things worked out. We were in recovery for about 2 hours but he ate well and his eyes looked really good compared to what we thought they would be like or had read about. He didn't feel like doing anything for the rest of the day but did eat well and slept ALOT which is the best medicine.
Bryson in his one size fits all outfit. Looked like a real NBA player with his gym shorts and jersey like shirt.

Easter
With the weather questionable when we got up, we decided to forgo the the outside services and instead take Bryson to our church and go more traditional. It was his first time since he become mobile. And with his surgery coming up tomorrow we decided not to put him in the nursery but keep him with us. He did really good. He loved all the singing and music. However when it came to the sermon he preferred to make more noise and it was time to move around. So Dad and Bryson went out and found out that there is a Cafe in the lobby and a flat screen to watch the service on.
Trying to figure out if he is dreaming or if all this stuff is really his. Dad is wondering where are we going to put all this stuff!

Daddy Day
With Bryson's eye surgery coming up this Monday, we went ahead and held him out of daycare to make sure he didn't catch a bug or anything that would cause a delay. Since dad had the day off he got to spend the whole day with Bryson.

This is cool! I get to do everything momma normally doesn't let me do. Like put all my toys on the other side of the cat door! Luckily my head is to big, otherwise I would have tried to crawl thru it!

I'm not doing anything dad I promise! Just standing around minding my own business.

Of course we had to do the oil change thing and get out of the house.
Dad showing me the sure fire way to make sure I don't reveal anything to mom!
Oh well, she found the mess before we could get home and sweep it under the rug!

Mustang Easter Picnic
My company does an Easter Picnic for all the employee's children. This was the first year we went, for obvious reasons. It was a neat little event. Bryson was just a little on the small side for some of the activities. They did an Easter Egg Hunt for different age groups. This is where we discovered that Bryson does not know what grass is and he didn't care too much for it. Things we take for granted and to our little one it is a whole new world. Bryson did enjoy the petting zoo and getting to see the Easter Bunny.

New Car
Bryson's Grandparents didn't want Bryson riding in his stroller any more around the neighborhood so they got him this stylish car to ride in. Even has a cup holder for his sippie cup and a storage place to put things he finds a little later on. We haven't had a lot of sun around here for the last couple of weeks so I guess we are going to have to pull out his sun glasses so he wont have to squint!
